Success is not always measured in wins and losses. Sometimes success, at least as it relates to ending the prohibition of cannabis, can be measured by the way we are able to change the conversation over a period of time.

Will Kentucky ever legalize marijuana?
Although a limited CBD oil law was passed in Kentucky in 2014, further progress in passing legislation that would increase medical marijuana access or reduce harm done to patients and recreational users as a result of arrest have fallen flat. In 2017 democratic senator Perry Clark introduced Senate Bill 76, which aimed to end marijuana prohibition for adults in the commonwealth of Kentucky, but the bill failed to make it out of committee for a full vote.
