As of November 09, 2016, qualified patients that suffer from a debilitating medical condition may lawfully obtain and use marijuana for medical purposes when the patient has been certified by a licensed Arkansas marijuana doctor.

• A chronic or debilitating medical condition that produces on or more of the following symptoms:
  • Cachexia / wasting syndrome
  • Peripheral neuropathy
  • Intractable pain that has not responded to ordinary medical measures
  • Severe Nausea
  • Seizures including but not limited to those characteristic of epilepsy
  • Severe or persistent muscle spasms, including but not limited to those characteristic of multiple sclerosis
